SKRT ships jewelry to customers across the United States and to 27 countries worldwide. This policy explains processing times, shipping options, costs, and what to expect after you place your order.

1. Order processing

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days of being placed.
  • Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST (Monday–Friday) ship the same business day for in-stock items with Express or Superfast shipping selected.
  • Orders placed on weekends or U.S. holidays will be processed on the next business day.
  • Custom or made-to-order pieces may require 2–4 weeks for production before shipping. Lead time will be confirmed at checkout or via email.
  • Orders placed during major sales events (e.g., Black Friday, Cyber Monday, holiday promotions) may take an additional 1–3 business days to process due to higher volume.

2. United States shipping options

Economy — FREE on all U.S. orders

  • Price: Free, no minimum purchase
  • Delivery time: 4–8 business days after processing
  • Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories (PR, USVI, Guam): 10–17 business days
  • Tracking included

Express — $12.99

  • Price: $12.99 flat
  • Delivery time: 1–2 business days after processing
  • Ships same business day when placed before 12:00 PM EST (Mon–Fri)
  • Cannot ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses

Superfast — $29.99 (overnight)

  • Price: $29.99 flat
  • Delivery time: Next business day after processing
  • Ships same business day when placed before 12:00 PM EST (Mon–Fri)
  • Cannot ship to PO boxes or APO/FPO addresses

Signature requirement

All domestic orders valued at $500 USD or more require an adult signature upon delivery for your protection. Please plan to be home or have someone available to sign at the delivery address.

3. International shipping

SKRT ships to 27 countries via three carrier partners. Rates are calculated live at checkout based on destination, weight, and selected service tier.

Available carriers and services

  • USPS: First Class Package International (most economical, 10–20 business days), Priority Mail International (faster, 6–10 business days), Priority Mail Express International (fastest, 3–5 business days).
  • FedEx: FedEx International Economy® (5–10 business days, value tier) and FedEx International Priority® (1–3 business days, premium tier).
  • DHL Express Worldwide: 1–5 business days to most destinations. Supports prepaid duties — customs duties can be paid at checkout instead of at delivery, avoiding door-step surprises.

Customs, duties, and import taxes

  • Orders shipped outside the United States may be subject to import duties, customs fees, and local taxes imposed by the destination country.
  • These charges are the responsibility of the recipient (“Importer of Record”) and are not included in SKRT’s product prices or shipping fees, unless you select DHL with prepaid duties at checkout.
  • Customs charges are non-refundable by SKRT.
  • If you refuse a shipment because of customs charges, or if the package is abandoned at customs: the order is considered delivered; return shipping and any restocking fees will be deducted from any refund issued; in some cases, refused or abandoned shipments cannot be refunded at all.
  • Customs clearance typically takes 1–3 business days but may take longer.

To avoid international delays

  • Provide a valid phone number and email at checkout — carriers often need to reach you for customs clearance.
  • Respond promptly to any carrier or customs requests.
  • Most carriers hold packages 5–10 days before returning them to sender.

4. Tracking & delivery updates

  • A tracking number is sent by email (and SMS if you opted in) as soon as your order ships.
  • Tracking may take up to 24 hours to begin showing updates after dispatch.
  • Delivery dates shown at checkout are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or force majeure events are outside SKRT’s control.

5. Lost, stolen, or delayed packages

If your tracking shows “delivered” but you did not receive the package:

  1. Check with members of your household, neighbors, and your building’s mailroom or concierge.
  2. Wait 48 hours — carriers occasionally mark items “delivered” up to a day before the actual delivery.
  3. Contact your local carrier (USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL) with the tracking number.
  4. If the package still cannot be located, email customersupport@iskrt.com with your order number. We will help open a carrier claim and assist with next steps.

Carrier claim window

Carrier claims for lost or stolen packages must be opened within 30 days of the marked delivery date. Claims submitted after this window cannot be processed.

Address errors

SKRT ships to the address provided at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for packages delayed or lost due to incorrect or incomplete addresses entered by the customer, failure to be available for signature on orders that require one, or unattended packages stolen from a confirmed delivery location (“porch piracy”). If your tracking shows delivered to the address on the order and the carrier confirms delivery, SKRT is unable to issue a refund or replacement.

6. Shipping insurance

For orders shipped within the United States, SKRT includes basic carrier insurance at no charge. For higher-value or international orders, additional insurance can be selected at checkout.

7. Address changes

Once an order is processed and a tracking number is issued, the shipping address generally cannot be changed. If you notice an error immediately after ordering, email customersupport@iskrt.com as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to update the address before the package ships.
