Our Commitment

SKRT is a Miami based jewelry brand, and we want everyone to be able to shop with us. That includes people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification, and other assistive technologies. Making iskrt.com easier to use for people with disabilities is an ongoing goal, and we keep working on it as the site grows and changes.

Our Standard

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our guideline. To be clear and honest with you: this is a goal we aim for, not a certification we hold. We do not claim full conformance today. What we can promise is steady, genuine effort in that direction.

What We Are Working On

• Image descriptions: adding clear alt text to product photos and other images so screen readers can describe what is on the page.
• Keyboard navigation: making menus, product pages, and checkout usable without a mouse.
• Color contrast: keeping text readable against backgrounds across the site.
• Captions: providing captions or text alternatives for video content where applicable.
• Clear structure: using consistent headings, labels, and link text so pages are easier to scan and navigate.

Known Limitations

Our store changes often. New products, images, and pages go live regularly, and some of that content may not meet our accessibility goals right away. For example, a new product photo might be missing alt text, or a page element might be harder to reach by keyboard than it should be. When we find issues like these, or when a customer points them out, we work to fix them.

Third-Party Content

Parts of our site rely on tools and content from other companies, such as our ecommerce platform, payment providers, and embedded media. We do not control how those third parties build their features, so we cannot guarantee their accessibility. Where we have a choice between options, we try to pick the more accessible one.
